Six Years Later “Consumerism”

Six Years Later is a visual art magazine/art book intended to get your thinking juices flowing about serious issues within today’s culture. They’re looking for artwork for their upcoming issue which explores this idea of “consumerism” and its effects on our society within a period of six year.  My idea for consumerism in the future came from that stupid Keshia video Tik Tok.   The whole idea is that companies hire these "consumer whore" to promote their shit using whatever the future new social media is.

Got the chance to help out with creating (I volunteered )some page layouts for student university magazine QUTE. Its was a good chance to final use my  graphic design skills boy I felt really rusty special when using Indesign. In the end it all come together very well. So go pick up a copy it's free from around the QUT university. 

Being more tenacious

If only get exposer,freelance work and other things of that nature was like training with Mr. Miyagi couple of lessions of waxing on and of followed by a montage and that would be it I would be the creative director of some fancy design company working hard then scoring with hot women all to the tune of some indie rock song. But that fantasy not reality (yet !) but I'm this year want to put myself out their more and get involved with the design community so instead of working on my art stuff been sending out emails to magazine,companies, agency's,blog pretty much anything design related.

Haven't had much word back yet but I did see my work appear on Australia Edge so thats good. I will also taking myself do to Melbourne to the Junior network drinks party thing.
